Welcome to Huddles and Heels!!
Hey! I’m Cindy - chiropractor, boy mom, and totally in love with football.
My love for the game came from my Grandma Gina — a die-hard Minnesota Vikings fan who definitely passed that passion down to me.
I’ve always loved sports, but football? That’s a bit of an obsession. I spent college summers hanging around the Vikings’ training camps, and after moving to Florida in 2003, I found myself diving into Tampa Bay Buccaneers territory (partly because my then-husband was a Bucs fan, and mostly because I couldn’t stream my Vikings games back then — I’m old — the struggle was real).
Fast-forward to today; I’m still in Florida, still yelling at refs, still showing up for every down (even in the pouring rain), and a proud Buccaneers season ticketholder 14 years later.
From 5AM tailgate prep, to traveling to away games, to finding just the right themed accessory for game day — this isn’t just something I watch. It’s part of who I am.
But here’s the thing…not every woman grows up with football. And so many of the women I meet — patients, friends, strangers online — tell me they want to get it, they just feel kinda lost (or worse, like they’ll sound silly for asking). That’s why I created Huddles and Heels — a space where it’s totally okay to not know the rules… yet. I’ll break it all down for you in plain English (with a side of tailgate snacks, cocktail recipes and maybe even ranking the hottest players).
Football is more fun when you actually understand it — and it’s even better when you have a place to learn, laugh, and show up in cute shoes while doing it.
